HERE'S SOME OF WHAT'S HAPPENING...

Molly Henriksen-Rowland , Bourne High School art teacher by day , Pumpkin Carver by night! Molly has been artistically  carving pumpkins for most of her life. In the beginning many pumpkins had basic geometric shapes but as time went on she began carving intricate designs like cats , the Queen from Snow White, and Van Gogh’s Starry Night. In the off season she enjoys carving stamps and ceramic sculptures. COME WATCH MOLLY DO SOME SWEET PUMPKIN CARVING  IN THE AFTERNOON AND LEARN SOME EXPERT TECHNIQUES!

OUR PUPPET SHOW THIS YEAR WILL BE PERFORMED BY MARGARET MOODY PUPPETS OF ARLINGTON, MA....  MARGARET HAS PERFORMED HAND PUPPET SHOWS FOR MORE THAN 25 YEARS. SHE STUDIED TAIWANESE HAND PUPPETRY, BU DAI XI- WITH THE WAN JAN TROUPE IN TAWAIN, AND LOVES TO INCLUDE  SOME OF THE ART'S LIVELY ACROBATICS IN HER OWN STORIES. THE PERFORMANCE IS ENTITLED 'TAKING TURNS' AND DISPLAYS HOW EVEN ADULTS HAVE TROUBLE WITH THAT SOMETIMES!
